Our Mass Feeding Ministry

Since 2005, we have seen multiple needs emerge as we serve those affected by disasters: debris clean-up, warm showers, clean clothes, tree removal, and more. Through it all, there has been one mission: to love and serve those in need.

When Hurricane Ida hit Louisiana in 2021, our Rapid Response team deployed immediately. God revealed that people not only needed homes gutted and roofs tarped, they also had an essential need that was not being met: the opportunity to eat.

We gathered, prayed, and obeyed. For two weeks, we would do something we had never done before. We fed 500 meals a day to the hungry and hurting.

From this outreach, the vision for a Mass Feeding Ministry was born.

Feeding the Hurting and the Hungry

      • The goal of the Mass Feeding Ministry is to share the love of Jesus by providing up to 8,000 meals for 8 days after a natural disaster.
      • Eight Days of Hope will partner with the local church to serve meals as well as provide laundry and shower trailers to further aid those in need.
      • If you love to minister to the brokenhearted through feeding, we want you to serve with the Mass Feeding Ministry. Give us your email below, and you will be notified any time this arm of Eight Days of Hope plans to deploy!
