EDOH is deployed to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our Response
Our volunteers help us bring God’s hope and love directly to those in need — in their compassion, they help others rebuild their homes, and their lives. Our wonderful volunteers come from all 50 states and 11 countries around the world, and because of them, we’ve completed over $84 million dollars of work — all for free. They have truly proven that even in the depths of despair, God’s light will always shine through.
If you feel called by God to share the hope and love of Christ with those whose lives have been devastated by a disaster, we invite you to join our amazing team of over 55,000 volunteers that we’ve built over the years. All you need is a heart willing to serve — and you’ll get a chance to meet and work with thousands of other believers driven to serve God’s people.
This trip has been an amazing time surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ, uplifting and helping those who need it. The homeowner we worked with this week told us how uplifting it was for her, but her presence and positivity was just that in return. Eight Days of Hope is an amazing organization that has people from all around the world, and I am very grateful I got to be a part of it for a few days.

This was the first mission trip for my husband and me. We were overwhelmed seeing over 3,000 volunteers under one roof, brought together for one reason, to show God's love. The homeowners and the people of Tupelo were so very welcoming. It was amazing to see how smoothly everything went. There was no downtime or wondering what to do next. Eight Days of Hope is wonderfully organized.

I had the best time serving with Eight Days of Hope! I felt like I was closer to Heaven worshiping with 3,000 people every day, serving others in His name and for His glory!

We were in awe, at first, seeing the destruction in Mayfield. But we were also in awe from the outpouring of volunteers from around the US with Eight Days of Hope to help those in need. We love how each day starts out in prayer and devotion before going to the job site and praying with the homeowners. We don’t have any real skill level, but the patience of our team leader to work with us was amazing. Needless to say, we are hooked. We have made so many friends, and God has opened my heart to serve. We now have a family!
