PHILADELPHIA, PA | NOVEMBER 6-20, 2021
For two weeks in November of 2021, we partnered with Worthwhile Wear to renovate a 100 year-old home into three two-bedroom apartments for survivors of human trafficking who are transitioning to life on their own! We finished demolition on the house, installed windows, plumbing, and electrical, re-framed the house, and finally, hung drywall.
Melany’s House is a part of Worthwhile Wear, an organization that works domestically and internationally to provide care for survivors. This home allows Worthwhile Wear to house an additional 6 women at a time, and will hopefully open in the Spring of 2022!
