Sioux Falls, SD – Safe House

SIOUX FALLS, SD | OCTOBER 2-16, 2021

In October, we visited South Dakota and worked one of the most unique projects to date – an apartment complex for survivors who are reunited with their children. Over 14 days, we installed windows, roofing, siding, and prepped the inside for additional work to be done.

Marissa’s House is a part of Call to Freedom, an organization that provides help to survivors and to those at risk of being trafficked. When the women in their program expressed their desire to have their children with them, Call to Freedom provided exactly that, ensuring that these survivors have a safe place to grow as parents on their journey of recovery. Marissa’s House plans to open in March of 2022.
