Eight Days of Hope is coming back to Buffalo once again for the 7th EDOH – Buffalo event! This outreach brings together over 1,800 volunteers from Western New York and across the United States to love and serve in this wonderful community.
Applying for Assistance
From now until May 4th, we are accepting applications for homeowners who live in Buffalo’s South District. If your home is in the South District, you own your home, and it is your primary residence, you can apply for free home repairs using the digital application below. Please view our FAQs prior to filling out the application. Paper applications can be found and submitted at 852 Kensington Ave. Applications have been closed.
Volunteering
We would love to have you, your family, and your friends join us this summer from July 18 to July 25 as we serve in the South District! We accept volunteers of all ages and skillsets and provide food/lodging for our out-of-town guests.
Join us for two days or the whole outreach. This is an amazing chance to come together in our community and show how we can build a better Buffalo one home at a time. Plus, if you stay for three or more days, we are thrilled to gift you a pass to Kingdom Bound 2026! To volunteer, click the link below and register in ConnectHope – our new volunteer portal!
EDOH’s Minor Policy: We accept volunteers of all ages. If you are a minor and attending without your parent, you MUST bring a signed and notarized parental consent form. If you are a minor without your parent and lodging with us, in addition to the consent form, you MUST have an adult of the same gender age 21+ with you in the lodging facility. We ask that youth groups maintain a 1 adult to 4 minors ratio for serving and lodging. Please note, you will be turned away at check-in if the parental consent form is NOT notarized. We are sorry, but there are no exceptions.
