Eight Days of Hope is deploying our Rapid Response team to serve the Avoyelles Parish, LA, community after Tropical Storm Arthur absolutely devastated the area. From June 27 – July 11, we will be sorting families’ belongings, gutting homes, cleaning up debris, and more.

We will be headquartered and lodging directly across from 4475 LA-451, Moreauville, LA, 71355, which is the Bordelonville Volunteer Fire Department. We will have EDOH banners clearly displayed when you arrive directing you where to enter!

EDOH’s Minor Policy: We accept volunteers of 16 and older, with a requirement of those ages 16-17 to bring a signed and notarized parental consent form. If you are 16-17 years old, you MUST have an adult of the same gender age 21+ as your guardian while serving with us. See below for the parental consent form.
