Each year, Eight Days of Hope serves a different district in the City of Buffalo with free home repairs. This year, we are serving the Niagara District. To apply for assistance, you must own your home, live in your home, and your home must be in the Niagara District. Please read the FAQS before filling out the application below.

Eight Days of Hope - Buffalo 2025 will be assisting families in the Niagara District from July 19 - July 26, 2025. To be considered, your home needs to be in the Niagara District. You must own the home, and it must be your permanent residence. Please complete the application and submit it to Eight Days of Hope by Monday, April 21.

Each application must list five projects that you are hoping Eight Days of Hope can help you with. These can include items like painting, porch repair, landscaping, and more. For each project, select a category and the utilize the follow space to describe the project in more detail.

Roofing Acknowledgement

If roofing is one of the projects you requested, please be aware that only a handful of families will receive a new roof. Unpredictable weather, skill set of volunteers, style and pitch of roof, and time restraints are a few of the factors that will contribute to the roof selection process.

Applications will be accepted until April 21 at 8:00 am. You can drop them off at 852 Kensington Avenue or email them to EDOHBuffalo@eightdaysofhope.com. On April 28th, a public drawing will be held at our facility at 7:00 pm. Applicants may attend if they wish, but it is not required. If your family is selected, Eight Days of Hope will commit to at least one project that your family requested. Please remember your home needs to be in the Niagara District, you own the home, and it is your permanent residence.
