Mercy Gate Ministries - November
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the EDOH Mercy Gate Ministries Safe House Build in Ingram, TX. The project will take place from November 9 to 23, 2024. Volunteers must be 18 or older, skilled in a construction trade, and complete a background check. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed a spot once you submit your information below. Safe House Build Information
The dates for the Mercy Gate Safe House Build are November 9 to November 23, 2024. Volunteers can arrive for dinner on Friday, November 8, 2024. We are completing the following tasks: carpentry, tile setting, painting, electrical, plumbing, and stone masonry. At this time, we do not need any less skilled volunteers. NO RV SPACE AVAILABLE.

Volunteer Release Form
WHEREAS, the undersigned will be working as a volunteer on projects which are sponsored in whole or in part by Eight Days of Hope, Inc, (EDOH).
WHEREAS, the undersigned desires to release and hold harmless EDOH, its officers, directors, members, sponsors, volunteers, and any other organization involved directly or indirectly from all claims, demands, or actions because of injury or illness to the undersigned.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the undersigned working on projects sponsored by EDOH, the undersigned hereby releases and discharges EDOH, its officers, directors, members, sponsors, volunteers, and any other organization involved directly or indirectly, from all claims, present and future, known or unknown, in any matter arising out of the project; further the undersigned specifically assumes all risk involved in travel and work on the projects and all activities surrounding the projects.
The undersigned will never institute any action or suit at law or in equity against EDOH, its officers, directors, members, sponsors, volunteers, and any other organization involved directly or indirectly, nor institute, prosecute or in any way aid in the institution or prosecution of any claim, demand, action, or cause or action for damages, cost, loss of service expenses or compensation for or on account of any damage, loss, or injury either to person or property, or both, whether developed or undeveloped, resulting or to result, known or unknown, past or present or future, arising out the undersigned working as a volunteer with EDOH.
The undersigned hereby provides permission to EDOH staff and/or volunteers to capture his or her likeness using photo or video equipment. The undersigned agrees to allow his or her likeness to be used in any legitimate context and for legitimate purpose by EDOH and/or its partners, with no expectation that the undersigned will be notified or compensated in any way. Those legitimate purposes may include videos, social media posts, emails, print or digital newsletters, and any other means of communication and/or storytelling deemed appropriate by Eight Days of Hope.
