Rapid Response Event: Eastern Kentucky Flooding

August 6 - August 20

Eight Days of Hope will be deploying to Eastern Kentucky to serve those impacted by the catastrophic flooding.

We will serve from August 6th until August 20th. Due to the conditions and the amount of loss, we are restricting the number of volunteers for this outreach. When you register online and a grey box pops up, that means that we are full for that date. Please pick another date to join us. We are praying for each person that reads this and registers to come. This area is desperate for help, and most importantly, hope. We are praying that God sends you to be His hands and feet over the coming weeks.

A few quick things to note regarding this outreach:

  • You must be 18 years or older to serve.
  • It is free to serve with us.
  • We provide your food and lodging.
  • There will be twin-size bunk beds for all volunteers. You will not need a cot or air mattress. You will need to bring your own bedding.
  • We are capping the number of volunteers per day due to the conditions and amount of loss. Please do not arrive if you have not registered online.
  • Please be prepared to drive 15 – 40 minutes to the areas we will be serving in.

Please see the below FAQs which will answer any questions you may have. God bless you!
